A number of streaming platforms have been running ads for ICE. We can use our collective buying power to fight back against companies that enable ICE to suppress dissent protected by the First Amendment and kidnap our community members. The following streaming services have run these advertisements for ICE:
Spotify - See information below.
YouTube - This one's a bit harder to get around. First, if you pay for YouTube Premium, cancel it. Second, if you use it for free, or if you just canceled your subscription, try using another platform like Vimeo. Unfortunately, there aren't many viable alternatives to YouTube, so the easiest way to get them to stop making money off of you is to use an adblocker. Ads are where YouTube makes its profits, so don't give them that opportunity.
Hulu - Cancel your subscription and switch to another streaming platform.
HBO Max - Cancel your subscription and switch to another streaming platform.
Peacock - Cancel your subscription and switch to another streaming platform.
Pandora - Same situation as Spotify. Cancel your subscription and switch to another streaming platform.
When cancelling your subscriptions, if there is an option to say WHY your doing so, say you don't support the service streaming ICE ads.
Spotify has been streaming ICE ads. We will not stand for corporations that bend the knee in advance and enable ICE to kidnap our innocent neighbors. Cancel Spotify, and switch to another music platform. Even if you use Spotify's free plan, they still profit from you watching their ads. Paid alternatives include Tidal and Quobuz, but if you're looking for a free alternative, SoundCloud is a good option. You could even use an ad blocker when running a music streaming service such as Spotify or YouTube Music, so they don't make money off of ads, because they can't show you any.

Ultimately, cancel Spotify if you pay for a plan, switch to a different platform regardless, and spread the word.
